Well, I've been a resident of Waterbury CT all my life, and it is always very interesting to hear the perspectives of those looking to move to Waterbury CT from varied places.Really? Yes, really. People do want to move to the Brass City, for more than one reason.The conversation that I had about an hour or so ago was very telling. Actually, of all the towns in the Greater Waterbury area, Southbury has the unique distinction of being a place where there is both a large number of Waterbury residents working within its borders and there are also Southbury residents who work in Waterbury as well. So that begs the question: what might induce a Waterbury resident to move to Southbury???

No – what I’ve found to be true is the reverse (as it may be for many of the surrounding towns): some people may work in Waterbury, but live in Prospect, or have jobs outside of the area. Now, since that reason has been eliminated - the whole necessity of living where you work - what might induce a Waterbury resident to move to Prospect???
