As I flew out the door headed to my seller’s house I went over in my mind what the showing agent had said, “The basement carpeting is soaked, can’t tell where it’s coming from, better let the owner’s know!” Yeah, not so easy to do since my seller was out of the country, with no return in sight. As I opened the lockbox and headed for the basement I hoped for the best, but feared the worst. The carpet was wet in different places, and I couldn’t tell where the water was coming from. 91,856 Properties For Sale in the Atlanta Real Estate Market as of Today!That may sound like a lot to some of you, but in all actuality this is the lowest number that the Atlanta Home Market has seen in a LONG time. I can't EVER remember the GMAC Advertising Billboard on 75 & I-285  showing less than 100,000 homes for sale today in Atlanta, can you??
The September numbers are not out yet, but in August 2008, there were over 4,880 homes sold in Atlanta. From what I understand, that number will increase in September.
