The Mohonk Mountain House, on the ridge of the Shawangunk Mountains adjacent to New Paltz, NY is, in my opinion, one of the most inspiring places in the United States. Now, I know some people might have other opinions, but I'd like to hear theirs while they are walking along the trails taking in some spectacular views and really fresh mountain air. I have had, as I call it, many pilgrimages to the 5,000 acre resort with my family. For me, it is a place of spirituality.
