cohasset: Sandy Beach Cohasset - A True Community Treasure - 01/12/11 12:47 PM
AS I sit here today watching the tail end of a Nor'easter dump a foot of show across New England, I long for the warm summer breezes of months to come.  While I could sit here and write on for a good bit about the many fine homes for sale in Cohasset, I thought it better to warm some minds with an educational piece about Cohasset's Sandy Beach.  Cohasset, MA is a premier community located on Massachusetts Bay about 20 miles South of Boston.  Along the coast, and nearly the center point of town is a stretch a of beach sandwiched between … (0 comments)

cohasset: Cohasset, MA Public Schools Rank in the Top 20 in the State - 09/09/10 02:42 AM
Boston Magazine has come out with its annual ranking of the public schools here in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The premium pricing of the homes for sale in the Cohasset real estate market has long been justified by the fact that the Town of Cohasset has an excellent school system.  And thanks to Boston Magazine, this justification has once again been validated by the magazine ranking the Cohasset Public School system in the Top 20 in the state.  If you are looking for a town with a stellar quality of life, that is within an hour commute to Downtown Boston, and … (0 comments)

cohasset: The Great Open House Question - 09/06/10 05:29 AM
Open Houses, are they worth it?  First let me point out that I know I am not the first fellow to ponder this question.  With that said I have read and heard plenty on the topic, and now I find it time to offer my two cents on the issue. From the home owner point of view, it is a time consuming request of the selling agent.  The home owner has to leave their home for a few hours (and find something to occupy their time), and this is on the heels of several hours of primping their home to look, feel, … (3 comments)
