Ten years ago I opted for Silestone® for my kitchen countertops as I cook a lot and, from experience, knew that granite, which is porous, can be scratched and stained by water and oil. Silestone has antibacterial protection, can take hot pans, is impervious, and cannot be scratched unless you use a diamond. It looks as good today as it looked 10 years ago. My Board of Real Estate sent me a message today warning of scams at Open Houses.Apparently, people now pose as buyers and visit Open Houses to steal prescription drugs. All agents should advise their customers to clean out their medicine cabinets and hide their prescription drugs before an Open House.
