Last Sunday the family went to the Pikes Peak Center to enjoy the perrennial seasonal favorite, THE NUTCRACKER BALLET. The oldest granddaughter was chosen to be one of the party girls in the opening scenes of the ballet this year. Each year the San Diego Ballet Troupe comes to Colorado Springs for a weekend of shows. In addition to the professional troupe, a number of young ballerina hopefuls from local clubs and ballet schools are chosen to play roles along side their professional counterparts.
