Everyone loves to go tubeing down the Chipola River.  It's the most fun.  We put in at Merritts Mill pond and float down to bear creek. Hunting and camping along the banks of the river are also popular.

This is beautiful Lake Seminole in Sneads Florida. You can camp, ski, swim, jet ski, or just have fun. The fishing on the lake is great.  The waters are always calm and peaceful. I have fished here in the early hours of the mornings and I can tell you, there is nothing like it. We have some good bait shops around too. 
Lake Seminole is a 37,000 acre man-made lake.  It has 376 acres of shoreline that extends into both Florida and Georgia. The lake takes its name from the Seminole Indians, the last Native American Tribe to occupy the area before Andrew Jackson's troops forced the tribe into Central Florida.

This is my good friend Johnny Stone and his son J.P Stone of Stone's House Movers in Sneads, Florida.  He is an expert House Mover.  He has moved three houses for me over the years.  They just moved the lighthouse keeper quarters in Cape San Blas Florida this past week.  There were two keepers quarters and an oil house.  The houses were threatened by the erosion and have been moved back for the time being awaiting their new location.
