First of all, I like to make one thing clear. I've been selling homes on the Internet for over 13 years now. It accounts for over 90% of our business. My specialty is lead conversion...it works really well, and it pays the bills! However, it is amazing that every day or so we receive a call from a buyer(s) that just want the address of a listing on our website. Most agents in real estate never quite get how real estate works. They start off on fire and quickly burn through their sphere of influence and then start looking for their next deal. The problem is that some times those next deals are very few and far between. More often than not these agents sit around the office waiting for a walk in or a lead from the broker....I only hope they are not holding thier breath these days..they may be in for a big surprise. On most of the real estate sites I come across it is impossible to tell if the owner of the site is even a licensed real estate agent.
