Today, I have a market update for homes in Mission Viejo and I will … (4 comments)

Be aware when you ask this question to your REALTOR friends. Many times, the response is not necessarily the answer to your question but rather a well rehearsed script that should be a RED FLAG to you.

homes for sale: Letter of Recommendation - 05/11/15 10:05 AM
Letter of Recommendation
I received this letter after successfully selling my client's home in the Seacall neighborhood Laguna Niguel, CA. From the street this looked like other homes in the neighborhood, two stories, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, but this one had an elevator! I'm not talking about a "stair-climber" type lift, but a full fledged elevator complete with lock-out doors, lighting and emergency telephone. Needless to say this was not a house for every buyer.
The following is a letter of recommendation from my seller:

WHY ARE YOU S-H-O-U-T-I-N-G???

To my realtor associates who enter listings in the MLS...
PLEASE STOP SHOUTING!!!
I get it that you are enthusiastic about your multi-million dollar lake front listing but writing your description in all capital letters is not helping you. People who know a lot more about type styles and fonts know that ALL CAPS is harder to read than normal sentence-case type. Here's an example of a listing that I recently sold. The first example is NOT what I posted but how it would look with all caps.

7 Must-Haves for Mission Viejo Kitchen Remodels

I get asked all the time about which remodeling items are the best when updating kitchens. According to fellow blogger, Rhonda Burgin of Burgin Construction, the following list of items are the things you should consider first when you are planning your next kitchen remodel. Kitchen remodels are popular in Mission Viejo as many of the homes were built almost 40 years ago using "builder standard" products like white 2" tile counters and basic cabinets and lighting. Many times, home buyers are looking for turn-key homes and don't want to begin a remodel … (0 comments)

Author Bio: After many years of working in the sales business, I have chosen to dedicate my career to the real estate industry. In more casual terms, I have decided to build my business around helping people fulfill their dreams of home ownership with a very personal touch. Unlike many in this industry who "got their license to play around in real estate", I am committed to giving 100% to each and every customer. Buying or selling your home is a complicated process that requires the knowledge, skills and effort that a part time agent cannot provide. Whether you are buying your first home, moving up because of a growing family, relocating due to a job transfer, seeking that dream estate on the golf course or downsizing in the golden years, I believe it is my obligation to treat everyone with honor and respect and with the highest degree of service and professionalism. Feel free to call me to discuss your real estate needs. I promise that I will take good care of you.
