selling a house: Final Walk Through is Critical, Sellers.

Yanking that TV off the wall is gonna cost you! Don't think the deal is over before the buyers inspect the house just before settlement. The final walk through sets the tone for a joyful settlement--or a hostile one. The buyers have the leverage at that point because they hold the money. The sellers need to do right by them--or pay the price. These sellers did a pretty good job of emptying the house and cleaning it out. Both work full time. They had to do all the packing for a quick settlement after they got home from work each night. (2 comments)
