twitter: Why Your Company Should Use Social Media - 05/06/10 11:14 AM
The other day I finally got my personal website, JamesShiner.com, up and running. I posted an interesting blost post video there today that I wanted to share with you.
Here's an excerpt:
"Statistics like the ones in the video below always amaze me. I've been a proponent for social media since it first hit the web. I've been telling clients for years that they need to get their business on Facebook and Twitter, that they need a blog, and that engaging with customers on these platforms will increase their business."

twitter: New Twitter Title Tags Increase Google Juice - 03/24/09 05:35 AM
If you're been on Twitter.com lately checking out a users profile you may have noticed the new title tags. They used to be "Twitter / ZipvoJames" but in a change that went live yesterday they are now "James Shiner (ZipvoJames) on Twitter"

Anyone who knows about search engine optimization knows that this is huge! This move will help get your Twitter profile to the top of the search results when someone searches your name.
If my past posts, the recent press, or your friends haven't convinced you to get on Twitter yet, hopefully this does. Not only will Twitter help … (11 comments)
