Is the flowering tree NOW?  Our trees are budding but no flowers yet.  I have been looking for a photo I took last year with apple trees blooming and snow.

Hi Sharon, Springtime? Maybe in VA, but not here! We're expecting 1-2 feet of snow over the next couple of days!

Those look like some great signs of Spring to me. We have a bit of a chilly day here today though, unusual for us this time of year.

Hi lil' Sis—Our trees like this one began blooming two weeks ago and some of them are still blooming, but most of them are sprouting brand new leaves. Terrific shot.

It's turned cooler here the past couple of days :-(, but that will change soon. I don't know how I'd survive snow until this time of year... I'm a hot house plant variety. Take care and have a great day... try not to YAWN too much today LOL!

That Bradford Pear is so pretty.  The blooms remind me of snow though.  I love springtime, even with the pollen I love springtime.  That may well be the largest Bradford Pear tree I've ever seen.

I agree with what Linda said, our Bradford Pears and Red Buds starting blooming about two weeks ago prior to eventually leafing out in a few more weeks. That first one just burst out so Spring must be here for sure. Right on time Sharon.

Hi Everyone-Before I comment I have to tell you something weird. Kim's comment is the only one that showed up in my inbox. Must be a computer glitch for sure.

Hi Maureen-Yes. the trees have just been in bloom for about a week or so. I do wish they stayed in bloom longer. They are so beautiful. Thank you for commenting.

Hi Toula-There is my early morning friend. Yes, I love springtime as well. Great time of year for beautiful photo ops.

Hi Kristen-Good to see one of my early morning friends. I was awake in the wee hours to do this one. It is nice to see spring but today is cold and rainy with only highs in the 40's BRRRRR. I definitely wish the blooms would last longer. The majestic looking green ones are very close to my place

Hi Sharon-Love your name. <smile>The pics don't do those justice because they are so beautiful. Thank you for commenting.

Hi Debi-It is springtime here but today has not felt it with the rain and temps only high of 40 but thank goodness no snow but I remember very well the weather like that from NY for many years where we have snow in April or even early May. I don't miss it. Nice to see your smiling face.

JL-We have as well and I don't like it at all but it is better than snow and soon enough we will have the sweltering hot temps which I haven't got used to yet.

Hi sistah Linda-Chilly here today, so I'm glad I took these when it was warmer. I like it warmer for sure but don't like that sweltering hot. There are still some pretty trees to bud close to home. YOU had to talk about yawning cause I doing that as I type this. I hope you had a great day. Later gater.

Hi Tammy-They have a lot of these tree around here. I just love driving around and seeing them all. it is a big one for sure.

Hi Kim-I love these trees and they are a treat as they didn't have them back home in NY where I lived most of my life.

Hi Gary-They have been out about a week with Red Buds out as well. I have to take pics of the Red buds next. Got rain here for the next 3 days so probably won't be able to get good pics of them yet. Thank you for your comment.

Hello Russell-You are a funny guy. That is NOT my tree. They are down the road and I took them while on a walk. I'm only 5'4" tall so it would have to be a really tall ladder to reach them. I hope you have been doing well. I'll be visiting your blog when you least expect it. Where have I heard that from before. LOL

Hi Sheldon-I somehow missed yours and Gail's comments. They didn't show up and I didn't see them until today with Kara's. They are VERY beautiful tree's BTW-DID you delete me because of the 3 day deadline rule. Blame it on the computer not your sweet sis. YOU should know me well enough to know I always talk to YOU and everybody else.

Hi Gail-YES, there are comedians everywhere I look. Keeps life fun and keeps a smile on my face. YOU probably gave up on me commenting as well. Got to love computer glitches. Mine is being a real pain and just when I get more work. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I hope you had a great weekend and a super Monday and YES I will be doing the ME ME. It will be fun if I can get the darn computer working right.

Hi Kara-It has indeed. A beautiful time of year for sure. Thanks for visiting. :-)

Though the pear tree is very pretty, I DO love the evergreens...and those are some HUGE ONES! I have had beautiful Colorado Blue Spruces at my last 5 houses, all in the neighborhood of 25 ft tall.  I just love them!

Hi Cheryl-They are most definitely majestic looking and with them being grouped all together like that it was really quite striking. I love the Bradford Pear trees but the flowers certainly don't last long. WOW! 5 houses. Pretty cool. That's a lot of packing and unpacking. I hope you are doing well. Computer problems and work has kept me from visiting as often as I'd like so I generally end up catching up all at once. Have a great week and look forward to chatting again soon. :-)
