Foreign Investors...The U.S. is a Top Choice Right Now

By
Real Estate Agent with Homeward Real Estate

A portion of my business is focused on the International Market.  Many of my clients are from foreign countries or work for foreign companies Beachin the U.S.  Florida is very much an "International" Destination.  Tampa is perfectly situated between Disney World and the Gulf Beaches.  It is a great location for foreign investors.  Having the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation, which is earned by less than 1% of all Real Estate Agents,  allows me to better assist my foreign clients.  Every country handles foreign investors differently and CIPS agents are specially trained to understand,  and facilitate, the purchase and sale of Real Estate in every country around the world!

Jackie,

Florida is quite international. And Vegas is slowly getting there. The high-rise condo market especially is attracting foreign buyers. They come from Asia, Latin America and many from Europe.

Jackie, well I guess I'd better get that designation too. Just sold a property here in sunny Arizona to a buyer from the UK. When we speak on the phone, he tells me it's cold and raining, and I tell him it's HOT and sunny here. Received another call from Darfur............the people are from the east coast, working in Darfur, and will be returning in a year or so.

We get a lot of Canadian buyers as well as English buyers here. Quite a few end up with high rises, although several have bought some luxury homes in the Summerlin area. Tourist destinations always attract foreign investors. -Charles
