How would you like to learn to create a beautiful floral arrangement?  Helena Florist offers a fun class called Sips and Snips where talented designers give hands-on instruction in the techniques of floral design.  Bring your friends and your favorite beverage and spend a couple of hours creating an arrangement that you will be proud to take home at the end of class. 

Classes are held at the studio on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m.  There are some Sunday afternoon classes planned as well.  If you would like to make a special request call Phillip Levine or Will Yuille at 205-481-1062.  They can schedule private parties and offsite instruction.  The schedules for upcoming classes in March, April and May are listed below.....

Ann - Classes like that can be such great fun.  We had a florist to teach us a class at our little community center a couple years back.  I learned about heaven and earth, etc.

That sounds really fun! We made "paper" flowers for my daughter's bridal shower out of tissue paper and pipe cleaners for the stems. She found the initial instructions on line, and then we just took it from there - variations. They were beautiful! As beautiful as paper flowers can be!
