If your moving from out of state with young children to Logan Utah, or any town in Cache Valley Utah, you may have concerns. These concerns, range from Logan Utah school information, neighborhoods in Logan Utah, Cache Valley, and Cache County Utah crime rates. These are valid concerns any parent should have, and you are not alone.

I have raised my family in Cache Valley, Utah and was raised in Cache Valley myself. There is a reason I stayed put in the same place, the community, schools, crime rate, and the people are top notch.

If you need answers about Logan Utah schools, or have questions about any Cache Valley school, from kindergarten to elementary school, you can find some very good, detailed information on my Cache County School Districts web page.

The schools in Northern Utah are safe and reliable, they all have on duty policemen, and are gang free zones. The drug rate is minor, compared to larger schools, and there are numerous after school activities to keep your children out of trouble. Including girls and boys sports teams, after school clubs, recreation center for exercise, inter-mural sports, and clubs for the arts, including music and dance.

If the schools don't provide the best experience for the activity your children are interested in. Cache Valley has a wide array of private businesses who specialize in youth activities. I can gather any information you would like on the subject, just email or call(435-881-3022) me anytime, and I will be in contact with you.

Family NeighborhoodThe neighborhoods in Logan Utah are zoned well. Our business district is separate from our housing. You can find a quiet neighborhood to raise a family without having to worry about busy streets and intersections. With spectacular mountain views all around, and fresh mountain valley air, Cache Valley Utah is a safe place to raise a family.

Logan, Utah was also ranked third nationally for lowest crime rate in cities with fewer than 150,000 people. Logan Utah,  was also ranked in the top 5 highest citizen to police per ca-pita in the nation. The Cache Valley area is one of the safest places to live in America, and this isn't just my opinion, it's fact. You can find the statistics and studies here.

If there is a down side to living in Logan, I would say it's the salary median per job. Logan does have the second lowest salary rate in the state. This is compensated by our median cost of living. With the low cost of living in the Cache Valley area, (median house price in Cache Valley Utah is just over $184,000), the lower salaries are not that big of a deal when you consider the cost of living.

If you make a large salary in some cities around the nation, you may have to pay a median home price substantially higher. Living in Logan, Utah and having a decent salary, leaves more money in your pocket to put your children through college.

I hope this answers some questions you may have about bringing your kids to the Cache Valley Utah area to prosper in a friendly, tight knit, and helpful community. There is room to grow, and it's safe to raise a family in the Cache Valley, Utah area!

Lisa, I LOVE Utah and the City of Logan. I have relatives across the entire state and love to visit - DURING the summer months. ;-) Logan gets sooooooo cold, and I don't do well with that type of weather. Great post by the way. ;-)
