With the low cost of living in the Cache Valley area, (median house price in Cache Valley Utah is just over $184,000), the lower salaries are not that big of a deal when you consider the cost of living.
If you make a large salary in some cities around the nation, you may have to pay a median home price substantially higher. Living in Logan, Utah and having a decent salary, leaves more money in your pocket to put your children through college.
