Wait for that parking spot!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

Do you have your advertisement on the back of your car or truck? I have my advertisement on the back of my SUV. When I park in a parking lot I will wait for a parking stall that everyone has to see when driving into or out of the parking lot. You never know who will see your advertisement.

I am actually going to have a decal put on my back windshield that says "REALTOR ON BOARD" with my contact information.  I priced the cost of having my vehicle wrapped it is a little out of my budget.  Some of the vehicles I have seen are truly eye catchers.  I just don't  think I can do the whole car.

I looked at getting my truck wrapped also. I thought about it and only did the tail gate. More people look at the back of my truck while in traffic than I thought. People are always looking in as they drive by. I guess they want to see if it realy is me Eddie Bigness "The Biggest Name In Real Estate!"

How many calls do you get off that tailgate?

I have not been good at tracking how many calls I get from the tailgait, but when I am in a store or having dinner out with my family. People always say they know me from some where, or say aren't you "The Biggest Name In Real Estate!" I don't know if it will work for everyone, unless you have a name that stands out. I have been at a stop light and had a guy get out of the car behind me, run up to my window and knock on my window. He said he was from out of town and needed a Sacramento Realtor to list his rental property. So you never know who will see you.

That's a cool looking truck and I love your slogan.  You really gave some thought to it and it looks wonderful.

Eddie Good Work!  I used to Vehicle Graphics Design, Printing/Cutting, and application.  This is one of the best ways to market yourself!

A little suggestion to anyone thinking of doing this, make sure your cars exterior is clean!  The worst thing is when you're trying to market your self looking 'dirty'!  You wouldn't want to meet a client if you hadn't showered in 3 days and your truck shouldn't be introducing you looking dirty either!

Hi Rahil,

You are right about having a clean car! I get my truck washed every other day! Having two kids my truck get dirty very quick. I found a car wash that near Fair Oak Blvd & Howe Ave that cost about $65.00 and you can take you car every day for 30 days if you would like.

Eddie, I'm sure it makes you drive more carefully since you are easily identifiable. I like Cheryl's idea about the "Realtor on Board" sign. Since wrapping is also over my budget and I own an older car, I think I'll check the sign out. Congrats on getting more recognized in your community.
