Special offer

Do you use just ANY Attorney?

A word of caution....NOT every attorney understands Real Estate Law.  The year is young and already I am on my 3rd problem where an attorney wrote up a legal description or cleared a title only to find we have a problem. Real State was not the specialty for these Attorney's.

Do yourself a favor...just because you know an Attorney, or because that person is a relative, make sure they specialize in Real Estate. It WILL save you money and TIME in the long run.

So far, the average delay these have caused is more than 3 weeks.  Long enough to lose a buyer!!!!

You also want a good closing agent, not just the secretary to say "Sign here!"

The attorney that I use wrote the contracts that our area Realtors use to make offers. I don't believe in just throwing my business to anyone.

I won't work with someone that doesn't specialize in Real Estate.  To many horror stories!

Bill...

You are so right, you need an attorney with real estate experience ... otherwise, you might as well do it yourself!

NO WAY.  Some things just require expertise, and this is one area that is just so.

The last client that used an atty. to do his work, it cost him double and then we still had to do extra after her was done.
