School's Out!

By
Real Estate Agent with The Berkshire Group Realtors

Mother Nature delivered a huge spring punch yesterday when Colorado and the Rocky Mountains recieved the biggest snow storm of the season.  24 hours of heavy snow and wind left as quickly as it came.

When the sun came out, so did the kids.

After being couped up inside for a day, the energy is now being absorbed on the local hills and dales in metro Denver.  Just a short drive around will find mulitple sled hills being worn thin by the delighted children of Colorado.

There's nothing like a snow day off from school to energize the spirit and delight the heart of kids both young and old.

Colorado Rocks.

Wow, your really did get hit hard with snow! I went to CU for 2 years and I seem to remember the ski slopes getting pretty slushy by April. It looks like you will have a long ski season this year. What great fun for the kids. Everyone gets to take a break and just have fun!

How fun for the kids...amazing that here everything is blooming, and you get a snow storm. I want to go enjoy a snow day too :)

Hi Kristal! Is that Ruby Hill? We used to sled there when I was a kid.-- but then we would shoot all the way across Florida, before they changed it!!  Great video! Thanks!

Hi Krital, This brings back memories of my growing up years ago living back east. I remember how wonderful the day off was when the snow fell all night long and the schools would close for the day. it happened a couple Fridays and that was even a bigger and more special holiday. It truly was like a holiday and these kids in your video treat it with the same level excitement. Let us never forget these special times and hope that kids for many more generations get the same benefit when mother nature cooperates with the fun white stuff.

Wonder if we will have another snowfall here in WNC before it's all over for the year. It seems we always get a surprise storm late in the winter before we can officially pass into Spring; although not as thick as your beautiful snowstorms!
