Keep in Touch with Past Prospects from "Open Houses"

By
Real Estate Agent with Diane Turton, Realtors

I thought I would share this. One year ago I had a client that was looking for a condo and we found one but deal fell through! (Another Contract)  Just thought I would mention this client was from an open house!

I kept in touch with them and when another condo finally came on the market in the same complex I e-mailed them and let them know. They came down and Guess What!  Their contract was accepted. We are now in Attorney Review!

I have been going over all my old Open House Sheets and recontacting people ! Will let u know how I do.

P.S Out of review and closing in two weeks on my Priced right Listing. all in 36 days.

Anyone that comes to an open house is a prospect, as everyone you meet is a prospect.  I am one of those strange people that do open houses to gain listings, not buyers.  I push the neighborhood to come see the home as I want their listing.  I have 10 buyer's agents that can handle the buyers.  Keep the names in different categories by time of need.  In time those "lookie loos" will some day be clients........

I use to do an open house just for the neighbors! That is how I got listings when I was first trying to expand my sphere! With the boom I guess I forgot some of my old tricks to the trade! Thanks for reminding me  to me to go back to basics!
