4 Offers in 4 Weeks. Beautiful.

By
Home Stager with Glastonbury Home Staging

I just spoke with the REA, Tommy Evans, Century 21, Glastonbury, CT, regarding  a house that my company, Glastonbury Home Staging had staged, he had 4 offers in 4 weeks! I am thrilled for the seller. This  unique home, a split level contemporary in Glastonbury, CT an area that has more traditional home, lots of center hallway Colonials. Two weeks ago, the seller said they had over 35 showings and 3 offers. I believe this is because the home showed well in the photos online, and because of the staging. If I do say so myself!

This was the first time this agent has had one of his listings staged, so I am really happy about the time frame and number of offers. I was not surprised though, I felt so good about everything, I was just waiting to hear how quickly it would sel;l not would it sell?

Another good thing about this job was the postive feedback from local agents about the staging. This part of Connecticut has been a little slow in get on board the "Staging Train", but we are getting there. I knew we would.

Rhonda; stunning work! It must be refreshing for buyers to see a contemporary home, with fresh, contemporary furniture, among all of the Center Hall Colonials. Four offers in four weeks; what a testimonial to your work!

Donna, thanks so much. One agent is actually working on a flip herself and will call me when it's completed, so I am thrilled.

Kathy, good to hear from another stager in the "area". This area is pretty conservative so most people as reluctant to try a new approach. I am making progress, though.

Peg, thanks for stopping by.  Yes, I think this house offered a nice change from the more traditional properties in this market. I loved the space when I was working there.

Cathy, thanks for commenting. I appreciate the support. Wish there wasn't so much lag time with things catching on here on the East coast.

Virginia -  Yes, actually the seller had accepted one offer but it fell apart. Luckily the other 3 couples stepped right back up and submitted offers. The new buyers asked for a couple of things which the seller agreed to and the closing will be May 1st.
