Opinions Needed - Has Anyone Ordered the "Home Stages" Staging Training Kit?

By
Home Stager with First Fruit Holdings

I tried to find some reviews on the CD-Rom (eBooks) training kit and could only find info on the main website.  I'm looking for some honest reviews on the materials, but not just the best ones picked out and published on her webpage.  Here is the link:

http://www.homestages.com/homestagingtraining.html

CERTIFIED HOME STAGING TRAINING on CD-ROM $199.

She doesn't accept credit cards, just paypal and checks.  Should this send up a red flag or is it a normal business practice?  And she sells this on eBay too.  I don't have a problem with eBay, but not accepting credit cards for a CD training course tells me that she might not be for real.  The description sounds great and I had my business credit card out, ready to buy it, then something told me to ask around first.

I'm mainly looking at the forms, contracts, sample business plan template and sample rates to charge so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.  Here is a list of some of the other subjects that interest me:

Service rates/ how to charge for Home Staging services & Consultations

Printable/Usable business Plan and Printable/Usable Presentations

An array of sample documents: Invoicing, contracts, budget worksheets, inventory worksheets, flyers and mailers, cover letters, cash flow sheets, profit/loss worksheets, accounting and much more! All in Word/excel format so you can edit and print.

Marketing Plan (usable resource)

Networking Plan (usable resource)

Please let me know if you've heard anything at all about this training material.

Thanks!

You can always use paypal and file a complaint if it doesn't work out -- but for only $199, I wouldn't expect much!  I wouldn't order it personally unless it was recommended by a stager that I admired their work and business.  Good luck - let us know how it turns out!

Let me just tell you, I took the HSR home staging resource course, and it is everything that you are asking for.  It has been the best thing I have ever done for my business.  As a matter of fact, I can honestly say, I don't think I would have got my business off the ground without this course.  It's expensive, but I paid it back after my first staging job.  Here is the website.  www.homestagingresource.com.  I promise you, you will not be disappointed
