Hi Randy - Thank you! The ocean/coast are some of my favorite "subjects", and although I've seen many many lovely areas along the Pacific Coast, Cape Flattery was at the top of my list for scenic. Thanks for stopping by.

Another beautiful shot Karen. although, I must say, this reminds me a lot of the coast there in Coos Bay I was telling you about where I have family.  Where's Cape Flattery?

Oops - don't know how I missed your comment, Julie! You are right - it was a cold blustery wind that day!

Hi Donne - The terrain here was indeeed a lot like the Southern Oregon coast. This was the North Western point in Washington State, though, on the Makah Reservation which also has Neah Bay. Even wetter than Coos Bay, believe it or not! We went there on Spring break after touring the Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park and Forks Washington, setting of the Twilight Series books our youngest is so taken with.
