Here are the daily thoughts on floating or locking if you are asked by your clients.

As always - consult your favorite mortgage professional who will be able to offer the best advice for YOUR unique situation

No scheduled reports due out today.  With the failing report issued by the White House on the auto industry - GM & Chrysler, the stock market is heading for a big tumble today.  This is helping bonds to stage a rally in the early stages of the trading day.

Technically speaking - the FNMA 4.5% 30 year bond is rising nicely from the 10 day moving average.  The bond is nearing overbought levels.

With today's apparent upturn I am recommending to

LOCK the good rates which will be coming out today for your best mortgage rate.
