This is truly one of the nicest places to live in Florida.  A tranquile Island, not quite 4 by 6 miles with approx. 15,000 permanent residents.  The winter months bring the "Snow Birds" down to enjoy their second home/condo.  Vacationers come down to escape the cold.  Marco has beautiful white sandy  beaches that stretch over 3 miles.  Tigertail Beach is a Nature Lover's dream, there is public parking (for a fee), it offers services such as a Snack Restaurant, bathrooms, playground for the kids, Beach Toy and Ubrella rentals, etc.  South Beach has public parking (for a fee), there is a Restaurant next to the beach path where you can grab Lunch or Dinner.   Residents Beach is just that, for the owners of Homes or Condos or renters that lease over 30 days.  For $130 per year, an owner/renter can obtain a Beach Pass and enjoy all the amenities such as Tiki Huts, showers, Bathrooms, a Restaurant, Firework Displays on the 4th of July and several other events throughout the year.  There is plenty of gated parking.

Marco is an exciting boating community, there is good deep sea and backwater fishing.  Boating through the 10,000 islands is a picturesque and peaceful adventure.

If you are not a boater you can still find plenty to do here.  There is great Shopping, Casual and Formal Dining, Movie Theatre, Public Parks, Sunset Cruises, Parasailing, etc.

There are 2 schools on the island, an Elementary School and a Charter (middle) School as well.  High School is off the island, about 20 minutes away.  Children get bused from here.

REAL ESTATE:  This is prime Real Estate, the Economy has caused prices to drop, however, the quality of life and the growth of the City has not stopped.  It's a True Paradise here!
