It bbaacckkk !!!! This Thursday, April 2nd marks the return of "The Fullerton Downtown Outdoor Market." Spring will get off to a great start thanks to a full lineup of live musical entertainment.
Everything from vintage surf rock to Top 40s hits will be featured at the weekly outdoor market, which will run through October.
Kicking off the opening day festivities April 2 will be "Los Fabulocos," featuring Kid Ramos playing songs about complex themes, such as love, family and home. Group members are James Barrios, bass and vocals; Jesus Cuevas, accordion and vocals; Mike Molina, drums; and Kid Ramos, guitar, bajo sexto and vocals.
The Fullerton Market will offer farm-fresh produce, flowers, fresh-baked breads, entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors, craft vendors, special activities for children, and a beer and wine garden for adults. In addition to the traditional favorites, new vendors will be added each week.
Also, the Fullerton Museum Center will host special "Family Thursday" events every other week. For a nominal fee, children and their parents will be able to work on a special craft project together and then tour the latest exhibits in the award-winning museum.
Fullerton Market will be located in the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue, adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center. Market hours are 4-8:30 p.m., and admission will be free.
