Pine Island has lost a Son.

Real Estate Agent with Pine Island Realty

On Saturday, March 28th, 2009 Pine Island Lost a Son, a Father, a Brother and a True Friend.  Richard A. Krieg, the owner and Founder of Pine Island Realty, is the type of person that touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with.

His business philosophy was to help the “good guys” out for a change by providing a service that no other company offers.  When you walk into our offices you are meeting with a friend as well as a professional.  Our agents do not invest money on Pine Island as we would never want to compete with our customers.  The company knows Pine Island better than anyone else and we will share that knowledge in an effort to provide you the best service you have had anywhere.  When you hire one agent, you receive the entire “Team” because that is the way he would want to be treated.  Pine Island Realty has been a success for over 28 years with Richards’s management and it is no wonder as to why that is.

Richard was also actively involved in the community on Pine Island, always giving what he could to help those that shared a common love of our Island.  In the past few days an outpouring of support has come from those whose lives he touched.  I am not sure if there is an Islander that has not reached out to the Krieg Family during this time.

Richard was many things to many people.  To me he was a dear friend who looked out for me as if I were his son.  I only hope that he knew the admiration I had for him.

For those that knew Richard there will be a service for him this Friday at 2:00 pm at the Island Methodist Church.

We miss you Richard…

Our sincerest condolences for your loss.  It is evident from the moment you arrive on Pine Island that it is a very tight knit community of good, decent and hardworking residents.  Although never having met Richard, we can say with certainty that he has trained and inspired an amazing crew at Pine Island Realty and his legacy will live on with each of you.

Our hearts are heavy for each of you over his loss.
