Staging Tips - Easy Fixups - Worth Your Time

We hear and read about staging homes on a regular basis. We have run across some pretty easy fixup - spruceup ideas for your bathroom.

a.  Got A Grimy Shower Door? They are definitely not appealing. But the cost to replace could be above your 'shine-up' budget. Instead of replacing - clean it with a mixture made of one part muriatic acid and around 10 parts of water. Scub the door with steel wool. Rinse, dry, and reinstall the door. Great way to sparkle.

(We had to go to the internet to learn about muriatic acid - here's what we found: Look for it in the building supply or gardening sections. Muriatic acid is strong stuff, so be sure to read all the precautions and follow directions including wearing rubber gloves and eye protection. Dilute it with water following the directions on the container before using and make sure there is adequate ventilation.)

b.  If Your Bathroom Has Dated Tile - here's a fixup. Rather than replace that old tile (which is in good shape of course) use paint. First coat the tiles with a high-adhesion primer. You will next apply a special ceramic exposy covering. For just a small amount of what new tile would cost - you have will have an updated bathroom that has great appeal.

c.  Still Have That Old Square Sink? People/buyers like Pedestal sinks. These sinks show off square footage very well and they look great. They are pretty easy to install and will give a dramatic 'flair' to your bath.
