I just love this! I was lucky enough to spend Thursday-Sunday at the Masters in 2001. On Friday we camped out for most of the day around Sixteen.
Hi Bruce & Mary:
I'm ready!!!
Can't make it to Georgia, but I'll be watching...
Hey Ann - On the practice round days, the golfers skip the balls across the water on #16. They walk up to the water and skip a golf ball just like you would skip a stone and skim the water. Most of them can put the golf ball on the green! We saw Tom Lehman pull a young man out of the crowd and let him try the shot! It's amazing what these golfers can make a golf ball do! Thanks for your comment and have a great April 1!
Mary
Toula! You'll have to apply for practice round tickets one year so you can see it in person. It would be worth the trip! Have a great day!
Bruce & Mary:
In my mind, The Masters is the Official start to Spring in The South.
ENJOY!
Hey David! You are absolutely right! Are you a golfer? Of course, you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy the Masters. It is an institution around here! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Mary, they really keep the grounds manicured to perfection.....picture perfect!
Mary & Bruce --- WOW ---- what a gorgeous photo. Did you take this photo?
Bruce and Mary, Now that is an absolutely beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing.
Gail - I have never seen such beautiful greenery as at Augusta National, especially the azaleas! I think their grounds people are very talented! I have some other pictures on the Augusta National blogs I have written in the last day or so. Check them out! Thanks!
Hey Liz - Yes, all of the photos I have posted are mine. The place is so beautiful that even an amateur photographer with a half-way decent camera can capture the beauty. My photos are, however, from different years. Thanks for your comment!
Sandy - You're quite welcome. Hope you have a great day!
Hey Tad! Minnesota is a beautiful state. We just get greener around here a little earlier in the year than ya'll do! Have a great day and thanks for the comment!
