A Spoonful of Sugar makes the medicine go down?
Do the hard jobs first. The easy jobs will take care of themselves. Dale Carnegie
Isn't this the truth? The hard jobs, the things we try and put off, all the things we really wish we had assistants to take care of, oh some of you have them..Well good for you. Then this maybe only applies to the rest of us.
The phone calls, the listing changes, the tough clients, the really tough clients, well we all have those things we don't enjoy doing and it's different for all of us, I mean I actually enjoy vacuuming (ha!ha!) But if we just put our nose to the grindstone and do all the things we enjoy the least first, then we can spend the rest of our busy lives taking care of the more enjoyable items. This is where making lists comes in handy for me I put the things I hate (maybe thats to harsh of a word) doing most on top of the list then make myself do them first, then the rest of the day takes on a different light, just the opposite of the spoonful of sugar tactic instead eat the brussel spouts first then you get the cake.
This method of managing my schedule seems to work for me, maybe it will work for you too.
