I knew we wouldn't hear from your for 11 days when your kiddies were gone!!
But you came back with a great picture!
Welcome back Mandi.
I hope your "vacation" was a good one!
Craig- Thanks! Yep not much time for the web during my "vacation"
Susan- We did! And we even got to take a drive to Greer....it's one of the prettiest towns in our area.
Tara- Just as tired but I always appreciate my kiddies more after I've had a break from them (even the fighting) :)
Thats a nice pic, could have been taken 50 years ago even. Love the rustic quality of it. It is so funny how the old becomes new.
Mandi... I assume this was taken in Arizona (near where you work or live), But the sand could easily be mistaken for snow in this picture.
I don't know why, but I have always been a fan of black and white pictures.
Robert- Thanks...I like rustic things and windmills have always been among my favorite things.
Steve- Yep! this pic was taken about 15 miles out of town. We don't however have much sand around here and so you are correct that is snow.
JL- I took this one in color but I just like the black and white version better.
Hello Mandi. I am a big fan of black and white photos. They speak to you in a different way than color. Mara Hawks here on Active Rain does some great ones too. Your wind mill just speaks to the desolateness of the place.
Gary I love black and whites too. I took this one in color but thought it needed to be a black and white. I'll have to check out Mara. Thanks!
