I saw on GOOD MORNING America yesterday that Jenny McCarthy's new book sights toxins in our environment are quite possibly a cause of autism. That is a scary thought! Of course this has stirred an uproar of controversy in the scientific community, I don't understand why this is considered controversial news. There are so many toxins unnecessarily used in everything we touch on a daily basis plus all the food we eat, and all the materials we use to construct our buildings. We should stand up to the scientific community and demand products that aren't made with toxic chemicals. Indoor air quality is a vital part of the green building movement that most people aren't aware of, hopefully prevention will bring more people to the green side. P.S. Most products used in construction that contain these harmful toxins such as plywood, glues, paints, insulation, and carpets are the same price as their green counterparts that are formaldehyde free and VOC free! Its a no brainer! -RJ out
