I do not know if anyone watched Chris Mathews speak with Jim Kramer from Mad Money about the economy and the G20 in London. They were basically saying that it is possible that the worst of the financial crisis and recession is behind us and that we are starting to turn the corner. They also said that we have a long way to go however the worst is over. At least that is what I took from the interview. How does everyone feel about this?
I just hope they are right. The unemployment numbers do not show that we have turned the page but I really hope these guys are right.
What makes them an expert, even knowledgable about financial or economics. I am really disappointed in Cramer and Mathews has been an ongoing joke for so long I can't even laugh anymore. It is the adage that "those that can't TEACH".
I've tuned in to Kramer a couple of times but his style clashes with mine so am not aware of his inputs. From my observations, it's certainly possible that the worst is over.
I heard Kramer say the other night that the depression is over and we are now in a recession. I am not sure that we have turned thre corner yet but the stock market is a pretty good indicator of what is to come in 6 months or so.
I feel that we have a ways to go however there may be light at the end of the tunnel, I just hope that it is not the next train.
