Do Pop-Bys Get Easier

I recently started my 100 Days to Greatness and am very excited to focus my business towards "Business By Referral."  But I am struggling with the idea of Pop-Bys. 

Yesterday I took an idea from the videos, visited the local dollar store and purchased some gardening gloves and shovels.  I have the items and it is time for execution.

Any advice out there for a someone struggling with doing pop-bys?

Hi Chris.  Yes, pop-bys do get easier and can be a lot of fun.  To start, select the two or three people on your list who you feel you connect well with.  Give them a call, say you'd like to drop by for a quick visit and then set up a time.  I've had difficulty keeping these visits to 15 minutes - quite often the client invites me in for coffee or we get started on a conversation and an hour goes by.  But that is my own fault!

Have confidence that people will appreciate your thinking of them.  Everyone likes a little surprise.  Good luck!

OMG!  This means you are going to be a great success with our systems!  People who think its hard, usually grow the most, while doing this system.  Keep them in your car.  They sell those little crates that you can keep in your trunk.  At this time of year, you can give out seed packets.  Saying on your tag, Send me your referrals and help me grow my business!  Or, Business is Blooming, please give my name to those folks that you know are looking to buy or sell a home this spring!  You can give a small potted plant or the seeds:)  Lowe's has great prices on these items.

Keep it simple!  Don't go inside their door if you can help it.  Popby not plopby:) as Brian says. Pretty funny, every month my Coach has me doing 30 to 40 of these fun popbys and I always grab a few referrals or even, those folks that I am visiting, end up moving!  It's true!

Personally I hate pop-bys! Avoid them like the plague. Then in a wave of guilt I crank out 20 or so... and always with great good effect! So much for my likes and dislikes ;)

That's an honest to God, Buffini Clubnet Member, good answer!  You know they work, why fight increasing your income.  Just get out there and get going with your popbys!
