How has technology changed your marketing plan?

With more and more real estate blogs coming "online" in recent months and with the active rain membership nearly doubling over the past year it's obvious that technology is becoming a key marketing tool for REALTORS.

I have noticed a great reduction of mailers (flyers and postcards) in my mailbox over the past few months.  Obviously, this has as much to do with a slowing market as it has to do with evolving marketing plans.  But there have also been two new real estate publication in my area which don't seem to be suffering from a lack of interested advertisers.  Being that we are in tourist area and that the school year is ending soon, this is usually the time when I would be flooded, as well as flooding, mailboxes with postcards.  Honestly, I haven't mailed out one yet and I'm not sure if I will, for a number of reasons.   

So, how has the Internet changed your marketing strategy in your area?  Do you still use the tried and true methods of the past in combination with a web site or has your web marketing replaced other forms of marketing you once swore we a must have for success.
