Boost Class!

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage 93383

We just finished our weekly Boost Class and I found it very informative today.

One of the things that we are doing it to find our that our market share is and where we rank.  Also to be the local experts in knowing about our market in the different areas of our local selling area.  WE are breaking it down as to numbers of active, sold and expired listing and what the price is per square feet ~for each, both houses, condos and lots.

I think that this is vital in talking with our buyers and seller.

The data is being obtained from our local MLS!

Be your area Market Expert!

Hi Ginger - these are great stats to have!  Being a market expert is really one of the three underpinnings of being a successful agent in this ever changing market.  Buyer and Sellers want to know that their agent will tell them the truth and can provide relevant, timely market info that matters.  They want to know that you are the local market expert!  The second thing to do is increase the number of contacts - if you called 100 people before to get a listing, you can expect to call 200 people this year.  The last thing is to price it right!  We need to come with so many comps (some solds but lots of actives) and other market stats that a seller can't help but get the message.  And if they don't get them message then, I tell agents to make sure sellers get the message by refusing to take the listing.  Overpriced listings hurt everyone!
