Spring is in the air! April is upon us and flowers are blooming. The redbuds and pear trees are showing their true colors and this is a great time to be living in Lexington. If you don't live here yet (and why not?) this is one of the best seasons to vist us in Historic Lexington.
The merchants have their front doors open most days and smiles are abundant everyone. Lots of collage students are sitting on the campus grounds soaking up the spring sunshine. Spring break is right around the corner. Churches are preparing for the Easter celebration with lots of activities planned. You can just feel the excitement in the air.
One of our biggest events is comming fast. Our famous (world wide, I beleive) 4th of July celebration is almost here. The hot air ballon rides have been scheduled with the night glow in place. You have never seen anything as beautiful as this large ballons lite up from the inside, glowing in multi colors and dush and into the early evenings.
We invite you to our fair city for these special events planned for the spring. Sales on homes have picked up in the past two weeks and we are seeing more activity on listings. It seems that with the stock market on an increase, people's optimism is on the rise. Good news seems to have that effect.
