Snuggled on the southernmost tip of Central America, Panama City, Panama is a pure paradise. It has over 1,700 miles of ocean coastline and the Pearl Islands, which is an archipelago of 130 islands. Just talk about a trip planning must!
When Panam took over the Panama Canal in 2000, the country underwent a much needed transformation. Panama City bounds with city skyscapers. The real estate economy has been booming is well (Can we say plenty of affordable vacation homes now!). It's easy for an American to travel to Panama since they use the dollar as well.
When there, you must check out the "Casco Viejo" (The Old City). It's old town charm and quaint plazas takes visitors back to a simpler time and place. Or, take a hike (literally, not figuratively!) up Soberania Park and view the famous birding and wildlife. Panama City is just pretty amazing all the way around!
