I think for the state of our market and the state of our nation, this is truly a motivational quote. I saw this on a friends profile on facebook, and it just struck me as something we all should believe.
We are facing a change in our business. How we do business, how we get business and how we keep business. No longer are clients knocking down our doors. No longer are buyers walking in the door ready to write an offer. There is so much fear and uncertainity, it seems everyone is scared to do anything.
I say HOGWASH!
Yes it's harder, but I think it's great. I think it is inspiring. When things come easy we get lazy and comfortable. We tend to stop improving ourselves. We stop coming up with new ideas and new ways to get clients. These are things we should always be doing in both good and bad markets. Both for ourselves and our clients.
So I say THANK YOU economy for giving me a swift kick in the tail, and reminding me how fun it is to be challenged again!
