10 reasons why I love working for RE/MAX

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Family

RE/MAX

When I was a little girl, my granny had tons of for sale signs in her home.  They were all red over white over blue with the words RE/MAX all over them and her home phone number.  It has been a brand name that has stuck with me ever since I was young, watching her carry her signs around in her trunk from house to house.  So naturally when I made the decision to be a Realtor, RE/MAX was the first real estate company that came to mind.  Although it was not my first real estate company to work for, it was my second and will be the one I stay with my whole career.

I am now the Broker and co-owner of RE/MAX Family in Killeen, Texas and wanted to share the 10 reasons why I love working for RE/MAX and bleed red, white and blue.

1.  RE/MAX University is a wonderful tool to enhance your real estate career to the next level while receiving a designation.

2.  The RE/MAX balloon logo is the #1 most recognized logo in real estate.

3.  RE/MAX does the advertising for you including spots in t.v. shows, commercials, radio ads & billboards all over the nation.

4.  RE/MAX has remax.com which is 2nd only to Realtor.com for most searched real estate websites.

5.  The leads that are generated by remax.com are distributed to RE/MAX agents that specialize in that area for free.

6.  Since RE/MAX is internationally known, it really sells itself!

7.  RE/MAX supports many charities like Susan G Komen, Childrens Miracle Network & Sentinals of Freedom just to name a few.

8.  RE/MAX provides special engagements with speakers that are nationally known for their agents/owners to help them stay up to date with the changing market.

9.  RE/MAX Mainstreet, which is provided for RE/MAX agents, has a design center where you can create postcards, brochures & flyers for free.

10.  There is an enormous amount of support not only from RE/MAX but also from all the agents that are affiliated with RE/MAX thus creating a great referral network that is also absolutely free!

I could continue on and on why I love RE/MAX but it would make this list very lengthy so I wanted to give some of the great key points.  If you would like more information on RE/MAX I would be more than happy to fill you in on all the other things RE/MAX has to offer!

I started with RE/MAX about 5 years ago and never worked for another Real Estate company.  I have always been impressed with my experience and love my office.  I have gotten great leads from Leadstreet and will be closing on one the end of the month.  Design center is awesome and they are always creating ways to support their agents.  I agree, I always want to work for RE/MAX!

I don't work "for" RE/MAX, but I love working "with" RE/MAX.  The name recognition is "above the crowd".

By the way, you might want to change the RE/MAX.com parts of your post to just remax.com so you can get some google juice recognizing the website.

I always have liked REMAX but have never worked with them. I was once married to the guy who began REMAX in South Africa. That's when I learned all about it, and really liked it. When I became an agent a few years ago, I joined the leading team in this town. REMAX is very small here for some reason. I wish it was different!

Tara - Great list post of 10 great reasons to be with RE/MAX !  Being a RE/MAX agent, I can relate with everything you are saying.  "Work for yourself, but not by yourself".  I love the commission structure and the freedom to negotiate all of our deals as well as our listing commissions.  Also, am about to make a significant personal move within the RE/MAX system (knock on wood).

I love my ReMax competitors....but I have to disagree.....a bit.   Though Re/Max is a great company about providing marketing freedom to you, it is not ReMax that people come to, it is the agent.  The same is true with the broker I am with.  Great company, but no one ever comes to me or my agents because of the brokerage name, they come to the person.  Our agents can not survive by the branding of a company alone.  It is companies that allow capitalism of the individual agent that will continue to thrive.......  Roll on.........

Hi Tara,

Couldn't agree more.

Very professional agents to be around who are always busy but very helpful.  It's a very competitive but also positive place to work.  We just finished the CDPE course, I think RE/MAX will lead the way in that niche as well.

Mara...wow!  I bet you have some good stories about how RE/MAX began there!  Thats too bad RE/MAX is not as big there...maybe you should join though and make it bigger!  :)

Christpher & Stephanie...That is wonderful and you brought out some other great features of RE/MAX!  Good luck with your "personal move."

Tim...thats ANOTHER reason I love RE/MAX.  I feel honored to be associated with some of the most professional Realtors in this industry!  You are absolutely correct that the agent is what brings the clients in but I cant tell you how many times I hear "I came to RE/MAX because..." either great prior service or because they know the name which helps in a VERY transient market..

Greg...you know it!  ;)

Kay...Isnt it awesome!  Dave has so much great information for us that its amazing!

Peter...just got my CDPE box last week so Im still working on the designation & I couldnt agree with you more

Hannah...you definately deserve that!  Just shows how great a company RE/MAX is to have agents stay for so long.

K...we are both RE/MAX lovers!  ;)  I dont know why this is members only but I am going to change that.  :)  I am feeling better thanks...must've been a bug or something!
