There are many many great reasons to move to the greater Wilmington, NC region - also known as Cape Fear. Among the top reasons often cited are area growth, jobs and economic development, year round temperate climate, great golf, boating and fishing, surfing, Wilmington's Historic District, the region's burgeoning film and tv industry, and 1100+ great restaurants. When it comes right down to it, however, the REAL reason move here is because of the beaches. We might as well face it, we're addicted to beach!
