Good For Wentzville, Missouri Gas Stations!

Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

I'm not sure why it is, but our gas stations in Wentzville, MO have been about 10 cents (or more) cheaper than gas stations in nearby towns...

I know that BP was closed for awhile due to remodeling and has recently opened its doors again ,so they may be trying to lure customers back...and the QT next to it may be trying to compete with the newly remodeled BP....

Whatever the reason...Good For You!!

Debi, over here in Connecticut they have what is called "Zone Pricing", which is just a way of saying that they are going to hit you with higher prices in the communities that they can get away with it.

You would think that since all of the gas stations for the major oil companies within a state pay the same for gas, that the prices to the public would also be the same.

Most stations in my area are all at $1.99.  When you see the occasional price over $2, they aren't just stopping at $2 but going considerably over it like $2.03 and $2.09.  Stay below $2!!

Good detective work Debi.  Soemtimes I find the stations that normally are high are low so I keep my eyes open for any chance to save.

Debi - my broker lives in Wentzville and I'm in O'Fallon.  We were discussing this weekend the large difference in prices between his location and mine.  I guess I need to show property in his area so that it's worth driving over there for a cheaper gas price!  Enjoy the day.

Tom - I think you're right. I'm getting pretty good at it!  :)

George - I think so, too!  We don't have "zoned pricing" around here...that I know of... :)

Donna - Our price in Wentzville is $1.81...for now....  :)

Thank you, Paddy! It pays to pay attention.  :)

Liz - Thank you! and thanks for stopping by!  :)

Debi - Great idea!  Maybe I'll see you around...  :)
