Rio De Los Angeles State Park at Taylor Yard

I'm hoping that the dedication of our new multi-objective state park will bring a well deserved revival to our communities of Northeast Los Angeles.  At over 100 acres of land and including a 2 mile stretch of river frontage, this vision has become more than promising to our side of town.  It is an overdue homage to the river that gave life to one of the greatest cities in this country.  Rio de los Angeles will give us one more reason to appreciate our environment as well as to quicken our minds to the importance of protecting the remnants of such endangered habitats.  We should speak of Rio De Los Angeles State Park with pride, and respect all that it shares, from the greens in its waterway to its wisdom in history.
