Water Restrictions in Muscogee County - Columbus Ga - Fort Benning

We are all asked to comply with water conservation measures by the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Divsion and the Columbus Water Works.  Currently the restrictions apply to outdoor water use.  As of April 18, 2007, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division declared a Statewide Level Two Drought.

                                    THIS IS THE RESIDENTIAL OUTDOOR WATER USE SCHEDULE

 

  • Odd-numbered addresses may water only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
  • during the hours of 12:00 midnight to 10:00 a.m.
  • Even-numbered or unnumbered addresses may water only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • during the hours of 12:00 midnight to 10:00 a.m. 
  • No outdoor water use is allowed on Fridays
