I absolutely love the idea of promoting one another when we can! As a result, I have a project called "Twitter Friend of the Week." Each week, I'll showcase one or two of my Twitter Friends so that you can "meet" them.
This week my featured Twitter Friend is Shannon Cherry (don’t you just LOVE her name?) of Be Heard Solutions. Here's what Shannon had to tell us:

I come from a reporter's background. (I was a TV anchor and reporter for several years before I started doing public relations.) Most folks in my niche don't have any journalism background, so I know how a newsroom really works, not just how to write a good press release.
I sang for (the late) Christopher Reeve and sang with BB King.
My office is on a separate floor than the rest of my house, so I have the best of both worlds!
If it's online, it's Twitter. If it's offline, it's got to be... wait I don't think I'm offline that much!
My dad's linguini and clams. I can't master it no matter how hard I try!
What? You mean I’m not a super hero already? My passion is justice. So I probably would be known as "Equality Girl" and I’d be able to right wrongs to make things fair!
Do an internship. I learned more by really working in a newsroom while in college and working as an intern in PR than I did with both my college degrees!
