We have all gone out to bid on a job, hoping that we would get the job, and that the people would be reasonable and hopefully easy to work with, just to get there and find out that the job was much larger than they described on the phone and that the cost is going to be much more than they are willing to pay.
We have some control over the cost of material and all of the control over the cost of our labor. At what point are we willing to know when to walk away from a job, when you know in your gut that you are not going to make any money and that the you are probably not ever going to please the customer?
