Wordless Wedsnesday--I'm from NM and you've got to be kidding, this means WHAT???

Real Estate Broker/Owner with INTEGRITY REAL ESTATE 19755

Had a wonderfully, chilling, and by that I mean had to buy a coat in August when we went to San Franciso last summer. It was an exciting visit but...When you leave your own area, you see wonderful things not common in yours. Never in your life will you see this sign in Farmington, NM. A dust storm or lighting strike but not a --how do you say--TSUNAMI!!

Visit the Jersey Shore and you'll see signs everywhere "Coastal Evacuation Route".  I think your sign here is a little more scary!

Hard to fathom the possibility, but a reality just the same.

Actually, it's not so unreal for San Francisco. The Good Friday earthquake in Alaska in 1964 caused a tsunami which was blamed for killing 12 people in Crescent City, California, and caused minor damage to boats in Los Angeles harbor.
