Active Rains power blows me away, it is amazing how powerful this tools is.  We are getting business from our profiles and blogs.  We received a call the other day from a guy in Birch Bay Wa, he said I saw your profile on Active Rain and we would like to interview with you.  We look up his property and WOW $1,000,000 Dollar piece of property.

Another great point you can write about virtually anything and it will pull up in google first page with 3 days.  And if you profile has a high enough PR it will get indexed within a day. I have seen numerous blogs where the writer does not use the power and optimize the page so it will pull up.  There are many things you can do such as h1 headers, titles and keywords, that will optimize your blog so users can find it on the web. 

It just blows me away, Active-Rain is a pretty new website, its only 1 year old.  Can you imagine the power it will gain within a year.  The more users and the pages and links AR receives the more powerful it gets, so invite as many professionals as you can.  Chances are they will give AR a index page link, or a contextual link.  In the long run it will only benefit you as a professional.
