Real Estate According To Winnie The Pooh!

Pooh bear was sitting in his log home one day when a thought crossed his mind, "This house is just too small for me. Or maybe I am just too BIG!"

As he pondered the size of his tummy, he realized that he was going to need to sell his little house and buy one with a bigger door!

Pooh thought to himself, "Who should I use to sell my home?"

Vancouver wa real estateFSBO - For Sale / Bear Owner! Pooh considered selling his little place by himself. He is very focused and never strays from his task. He has been sniffing out honey for years without any distraction! Besides, who knows his home better than he? He knows exactly what buyers would want. He could show them where all of the honey holes are and the bushes that grow the best berries. That must add at least 20% to the value. Certainly he would be the best one to sell his own home. He could save a whole bunch of money on commission and use it to buy a big barrel of honey!

vancouver wa real estateTigger! - Maybe his good friend Tigger would be the best one to sell his home. He is so full of energy and never slows down. He goofs up every once in a while but he has been calling Pooh 3 times a day for the past 3 months asking to sell his home. Who cares if he is new to the business? The kid has spunk! AND he is a good talker! He tends to goof up quite often, and details probably aren't his strong point... but did I mention that he has no shortage of energy?!

vancouver wa real estateRabbit - Surely the smartest one in The 100 Acre Woods. At least that is what he keeps telling everybody. Rabbit should be a perfect agent. He knows everything. He loves to tell everyone what to do and how to do it. He has been in the business for 30 years and he doesn't mind telling everyone about it. He is a bit surly at times but he is the smartest one in The 100 Acre Woods...At least that is what he keeps telling everyone!

vancouver wa real estateThe Kanga+Roo Team - The only team in the group. Kanga is very organized and to the point but maybe a little to doting on Roo. Together they might be a good team but it seems that Kanga is more interested in Roo's success than getting Pooh's house sold. When push comes to shove, where will her loyalty be? With Pooh? More than likely it will be with Roo.

vancouver wa real estateEeyore - The most even keeled one in the group but is forever the pessimist. The glass is never half full. It is always half empty and broken! His ability to put a positive spin on any situation is legendary as can be witnessed by his most recognizable quote, "It's not much of a tail, but I'm sort of attached to it."  Of course Eeyore is still wondering why he is in the real estate business and hoping that the sky doesn't fall down and crush him before he can kill himself. His own home is being foreclosed and he just doesn't care.

vancouver wa real estatePiglet - Probably has the biggest heart of the bunch and is the most dedicated to Pooh Bear. Although a little on the shy side, Piglet has put Pooh's interests before his own and is fierce in his dedication. His nerves cause him to stutter and therefore he would rather be the guest of honor at a Hawaiian luau (Think roast pork!) than generate leads via the telephone.

vancouver wa real estateChristopher Robin - The ultimate landlord in the Pooh series and developer of the One Hundred Acre Woods Project (OHAW), Christopher seems like the logical answer to Pooh Bear's dilemma. However, the folks at Disney have left Chris at the curb and moved on. Chris hasn't been following up with his furry friends. Actually he hasn't been following up with ANY of his past clients and they are starting to get a little irritated. No friendly phone calls. No birthday cards. No reminders to reset the clocks for daylight savings time. The last time anyone heard from the C Robin, he was selling memberships for Pre Paid Legal.

Pooh sat for a while longer pondering the size of his tummy. " Who should I use to sell my home?"

Who do you know who reminds you of one of Pooh's little friends? Who should he choose?

Mark - that's a tough question. Should Winnie the Pooh interview all the candidates and let them make their listing presentations to pick up the One? Should he chose the one with the lowest commission? Or should he go FSBO? Isn't it a Bear market after all? LOL
