Inspiration: The Susan Boyle Story

You can't judge a book by its cover. Susan Boyle an ordinary looking 47 year old auditioned for Britain's Got Talent show. The rest is history. I found it quite an inspiration. She sang The Dream from Les Miserable and within the first few notes, a star was born. She was incredible.

She pursued her dream despite her age, her appearance, her status. She had the courage. It's never too late for us to find success or pursue our dreams, or make changes in our lives.

Just Added:
Susan Boyle recorded "Cry Me A River" for a charity album in 1999, partly funded by the tiny Whitburn Community Council in West Lothian, where she lives. Only 1,000 copies of the CD were pressed.

Mitchell - Neal Boortz raved about this early in the week and I got the link from his website. I saw it and immediately shared it with my wife and several others. It was kind of like a Disney fairy tale ending.

Mike, I saw it yesterday for the first time and kept playing it over and over. By the second or third note it is obvious she has a beautiful voice. It was like a Disney fairy tale ending. Everyone loves a happy ending.

Funny I was just playing the Youtube video for someone who was complaining he had never heard the whole thing, because he's heard about it on the news but they talk about it, with it playing in the background. 

She has a great voice, no doubt about it.

I just really became a Youtube fan in the past month or so... I think I was a member since 2007 or 2006.  I thought it was so juvenille.  Not that I did not like Youtube videos but as a social network with favorites, etc.  I did not get it.  I am off to look for 'Cry Me a River' now.
