Wendy, This is such a great cause and good to see that it is being held even though it's not a holiday.  People need help year round.

Hi Wendy,
It is a great cause.  I remember my Grandfather was a big supporter of the Baptist Children's home and when he died, many people made contributions to it in memory of him.

Laura, I checked out the nkp4kids.org.  Your mother did an awesome job.  Just were would all the children that came through the children's shelter be without her efforts?  My daughters get involved in helping pick out the food items and they love dropping them off at the church.  Our church does several "drives" a year and has a once a year offering taken up for it as well.  Several of the children have gotten up and spoken at our church to let us know what the Bapstist Children's home has done for them.  Alot of the children went through the same things listed on nkp4kids.org before coming to the Children's home.  It's sad.

Peninsula Baptist did a contest last year at VBS between boys and girls to see who could bring in the most canned goods.  The results were great.

A great cause Wendy.  If I happen to be in that area, I will drop things off.

THANK YOU Sherry!  I'm going to let the girls take a few more things today.  They like to be "personally" involved in picking out the items and dropping them by.  And it is a good thing for them to learn.  Have a great week.

Thanks Sandy, sometimes we forget how fortunate we are.  It's the least I can do.  Hope you have a great week.

Give, Give, Give.  I think it is great to give to those who need it.  It makes you feel great.  There are so many who are less fortunate than us and I love helping.  I wish you the best.
